Bloom calendar
March – early April
Early in the season, early blooming varieties such as crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early small tulips are in bloom. You can find the indoor flower shows and activities during this period here.
Early April – early May
Later in the season, the later species bloom, including larger tulips, daffodils, muscari, fittalaria and late-flowering hyacinths. You can find the indoor flower shows and activities during this period here.
Early May – mid-May
At the end of the season, the last late-flowering tulips, irises and alliums are in bloom. The other flowerbeds are finished blooming by then, but our gardeners maintain the park at its best. The meter-high trees, rhododendrons and azaleas will add color to the park then. You can find the indoor flower shows and activities during this time here.
Based on decades of experience, we have created a detailed bloom calendar. Please note that flowering depends on weather conditions, so the actual bloom status may differ from our estimates below. During our opening season, we update the current bloom status twice a week on our website with fresh photos. Check our website regularly to stay up to date with the latest blooms!

Flower report 8 May 2026
Keukenhof is slowly transforming into a fairytale setting. Around the pond, the trees, including graceful lime trees, oaks and two‑hundred‑year‑old beeches, are coming into leaf in countless shades of green. Further along, towards the Beatrix Pavilion, the trees provide shade, allowing tulips to remain in bloom here. On the Spring Meadow, the flowers have now been topped, but our gardeners have replenished the flower beds. Next to the Juliana Pavilion you will find the natural garden: a beautifully landscaped part of the park with blooming azaleas, hostas and shrubs.

Flower report 4 May 2026
During the final week of Keukenhof, rhododendrons and azaleas take center stage. The towering shrubs, together with the trees beautifully in leaf, give the park a historic and romantic atmosphere. The last flower beds with tulips, fritillarias, and alliums are in bloom. Because there is a lot of shade in the Birch Forest (between the pont and the Beatrix pavilion), this is especially where many flower beds are flowering. In other parts of the park, our gardeners are replanting to ensure visitors can continue to enjoy the beauty of the flowers.
We expect the park to change rapidly over the coming days. Keep an eye on the bloom update to stay informed about flowering at Keukenhof.

Flower report 1 May 2026
Late‑flowering tulips, daffodils, fritillarias and alliums are still in bloom. Especially the flowerbeds around the pond and in the birch forest add plenty of colour to the park at the moment. At the same time, it is becoming clear that spring is entering its final phase: several flowers have finished flowering and are being topped. This is part of the natural season and was taken into account in the planning.
The gardeners continue to carefully maintain the park and add new planting where needed. As a result, Keukenhof takes on a different, yet still atmospheric appearance. Trees are fully in leaf, and azaleas and rhododendrons are blooming abundantly. Keukenhof remains a pleasant place to walk, relax and be inspired. In the surrounding area, all flower fields have now been topped.
We expect the park to change quickly in the coming days. Please keep an eye on the bloom update to stay informed about what is flowering in Keukenhof.

Keukenhof changes every day. Large tulips, alliums and daffodils bring vibrant colour to the park. Azaleas are in bloom and rhododendrons form beautiful pink and white walls of flowers. Some flowerbeds have already finished flowering and are therefore being topped. This week, for example, we are starting with the hill near the main entrance. This is a natural part of the season, which was taken into account during the planting period. At the same time, late‑flowering varieties are now in full bloom, ensuring there is still plenty of colour and variety throughout the park. The park looks stunning.
